Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra review

It seems like the Samsung Galaxy S24 series is off to a strong start in terms of pre-orders, with significant interest in various markets, especially in India and Samsung's home country, South Korea. The reported pre-order numbers for the first week in Korea, reaching almost 1.2 million units, indicate a higher demand compared to the previous Galaxy S23 series.

The popularity of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, with over 60% of pre-orders, suggests that consumers are particularly drawn to the top-tier model, possibly due to its advanced features and specifications.

The prediction of reaching almost 36 million total annual sales by the end of the year showcases the anticipated success of the Galaxy S24 lineup, potentially making it the first flagship since the Galaxy S10 in 2019 to surpass the 30 million mark.

However, the report also notes that while the Galaxy S24 series may outperform its predecessors, it might not reach the pre-order levels seen with the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+. The Note 10 series, released in 2019, holds the record for the most pre-ordered Galaxy device in Korea, with almost 1.4 million pre-orders.

The mention of Samsung potentially charging customers for AI features in the future raises questions about the company's business strategy and how consumers will respond to such changes. It will be interesting to see how Samsung navigates these considerations and whether it impacts the overall success of its flagship devices in the long run.
